We had an incredible stay in an authentic castle with modern amenities! The best aspects were the gorgeous location in nature, with a river below, and proximity to mountains. The hotel was very clean, had great facilities, parking, and delicious breakfast. The friendly staff made us feel at home.

Located in a picturesque setting, nestled by a river and close to nature, this 11th century castle offers a truly enchanting experience. the Chaplain's room boasts a four-poster bed and antique decor, while the jacuzzi provides a delightful relaxation option. the friendly hosts serve a delicious breakfast featuring local produce, ensuring a warm start to the day.

Some of the nearby attractions, such as Saint-Savin, may be a bit underwhelming for those seeking a more immersive cultural experience.

The hotel was in a beautiful setting and the room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and lovely decor. the breakfast was tasty and there were lots of options to choose from. the staff were friendly and helpful.

Our New Year's stay at the hotel was spoiled by the lack of food options. We were disappointed that there were no restaurants or cafes nearby and the hotel did not offer any meals or snacks on New Year's Eve or New Year's Day.

Staying in a castle! A once-in-a-lifetime experience that we'll never forget. The history and authenticity of the building was impressive. We loved the local area too, with plenty of amenities and nearby sights to enjoy. The river nearby was a real treat, especially with the lily pads and dragonflies.

We didn't get to eat dinner at the castle during our stay, but we still found some great local restaurants to enjoy. The area wasn't great for walking, with more roads than footpaths, but we ended up renting bikes which was a much better way to get around.

I had an amazing experience staying in this luxurious hotel! The location was absolutely perfect, nestled in a beautiful area close to the Pyrénées mountains. I loved being surrounded by nature and having the opportunity to swim in the river below the castle. It was truly a unique and refreshing experience.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.
